amma
we went to see her a few weeks ago when she was in la and she was pretty amazing. i probably won't be talking shit about her anymore. it's so easy to be judgmental about someone you've never met in person, especially when they've put themselves in the public eye like she has.
i'm not saying she's an enlightened being, because that whole trip doesn't resonate with me, but damn she has good energy. i can see now why people follow her around.
she is so positively charged and loving that instead of absorbing negativity like most people do, she seems to just reflect it back. it was an eye-opening experience.

adventure
A "warrior" shaman tends to personify fear, illness or disharmony and to focus on the development of power, control, and combat skills in order to deal with them. An "adventurer" shaman, by contrast, tends to depersonify these conditions (i.e. treat them as effects, not things) and deal with them by developing skills of love, cooperation, and harmony.

truth (???)
you will always be building a library of subjective conditioning, but you are the librarian, so you get to decide the books.
compare your truth as a newborn baby to your truth now, as an adult. things are constantly changing. each breath you take transforms you, sends you from one moment to the next. truth is subjective, and it is fleeting. truth is, at its worst, self-limiting, when you attach yourself to it as if it is an absolute.
what you experience as an acutely self-aware being (human) is naturally filtered through these creative limitations that you have imposed on yourself.
