“What you hope, you will eventually believe. What you believe you will eventually know. What you know, you will eventually create. What you create, you will eventually experience. What you experience, you will eventually express. What you express, you will eventually become. This is the formula for all of life.”
Neale Donald Walsch

“Your emotional life at certain levels is enriched by the unconscious realization that those who love you from past or future are connected to you by special ties that add to your emotional heritage and support. As many have supposed, particularly in fiction, love relationships do indeed survive time, and they put you in a special correspondence. Even if you were aware of reincarnational existences, your present psychological behavior would not be threatened but retain its prominence — for only within certain space and time intersections can physical actions occur. The more or less general acceptance of the theory of reincarnation, however, would automatically alter your social systems, add to the richness of experience, and in particular insert a fresh feeling for the future, so that you did not feel your lives dead-ended.”

“Know that other people will reflect back to you every image you carry within. If they say something negative to you, and evoke a strong response, thank them for reflecting back to you an image of yourself you need to change. When you carry images such as “I am powerful, I truly love and value myself, I have enough money, enough love, etc.” you will begin to see those images sent back to you.”

“I wake up feeling clear and energized in the morning… What is most profound for me about this light eating pattern is the flow of cosmic energy I feel coursing through my body… During the day it feels as if joy is simply running through every cell independent of external factors.”
Gabriel Cousens, Raw Food Medical Doctor

“The relationships you have with others can only be as good as the relationships they have with themselves. If they do not know how to love themselves, that limits how much they can love you. No matter how hard you try, how many nice things you do, they cannot give you the love you seek. Forgiveness is the key to feeling good about how others treat you. Then, release any anger you may feel, simply let it go and focus on other things.”

this sucks

don't let time keep running out don't be filled with so much doubt RELEASE YOURSELF

I used to throw my haters some shade but over time they collected it, tiny little morsels of respite from the light of my brilliance. Climbing day over day like scaling sheer cliffs, gleaning what little darkness my glance askance could afford them, and now after mountains of time my haters wander the desert free of thirst, free of fear. They buy gold jewelry with the money they save on suntan lotion and stretch their arms out from beneath their canopy, wrists glinting and jingling as they dance. They crouch beneath trees to amplify the shade and take naps in daytime. I squint at them through the blinding light. I’d give them dirty looks but they’d only develop an immunity to dangerous bacteria because what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

body, catch a body. when it comes down to it we’re so much more. we’re energy, we’re lightness, we’re empty pages waiting to be filled.  we worry about our bodies. we worry that we’re too thick, too thin. we’re worry that our noses are crooked or our skin too scared. we spend so much time worrying about our shells & not the essence inside. there will be a day when only the lightness inside of ourselves will be what is left. it is that which will travel & keep us alive through stories and dreams and memories. we must not worry about our makeup in the morning, spending thirty minutes to make ourselves look presentable. we must take those thirty minutes to breathe deep & prepare our souls for the day so they are light & strong & ready for anything. one day your body will cease to be but your light will glow forever more.

don't depend on those friends who pretend to believe and ask why

“What is our real purpose for being in this world? It is to awaken to knowledge of ourselves as spiritual beings in relationship to a Reality which, not confined by space, time, or relative circumstances, is infinite. When realization of transcendent knowledge is accomplished. When it is completely and permanently unfolded we can live freely in the physical realm with enlightened understanding. When we are fully enlightened while expressing through a body, our awareness extends beyond the sense-perceived environment to include all planes and dimensions of the cosmos and beyond them, to eternity. It is only the soul’s confinement of awareness to an erroneous belief of independent selfhood that limits it. The truth is, because the soul is a unit of God’s consciousness, it is infinite.”
Roy Eugene Davis

“Humanity is waking up, and in this important year we are riding the crest of a very big wave. We are living on the edge. We are living between worlds. How we live, the choices we make, the sensitivities we develop, and our love and honor for all life will see us through. As humanity awakes to the spirit in all matter, I have absolute hope that we will begin to live and work in a sacred way again. We did not come this far through the burden of time and space to end it in this way. We are here to be victorious. We are here to witness and participate in the great celebration.”

how do you personally let go of any fears/inhibitions about creating artwork?

i do not plan out what i am going to make when i start, while i am making works or know when or how they will end. I put my whole heart and soul.. everything i have in me.. into what i am making at that moment. I make things with the thought that they are for myself and maybe it will be in my life forever… i use precious things from my life and travels that i can and will never find again. I do it all for me. it is all very selfish. and then i have to learn to let go of these things when the time comes and so i am giving parts of myself away so that they can breath new life and maybe bring the same joy to other people i would hope … like i do by picking up the waste of others and turning it into something new.

it is so simple. and so complex.

when you are making things for your own pleasure there is no inhibition or fear of letting anyone else’s opinions matter or in turn effect what you make and why.

“If you can sit quietly and realize that your body parts are replacing themselves constantly — if you tune your conscious mind into the consideration of such activity — then you can realize your own state of grace. If you can sense your thoughts steadily replacing themselves then you can also feel your own elegance. You cannot feel guilty and enjoy such recognition, however; not on a conscious level. If you find that you are berating yourself because of something you did yesterday, or ten years ago, you are not being virtuous. You are most likely involved with artificial guilt. Even if a violation occurred, natural guilt does not involve penance. It is meant as a precautionary measure, a reminder before an event.”
Jane Roberts

“In an experiment cited by Dr. Larry Dossey, former chief of staff at Medical City Dallas Hospital, a group of epileptic children and their families were videotaped as they interacted with one another. Occasionally, there were emotional outbursts during the sessions, which were often followed by actual seizures. When the children were shown the tapes and saw the relationship between these emotional events and their seizures, they became almost seizure-free. Why? By keeping a diary or watching a videotape, the subjects were able to see their condition in relationship to the larger pattern of their lives. When this happens, illness can no longer be viewed “as an intruding disease originating elsewhere, but as part of a process of living which can accurately be described as unbroken and whole,” says Dossey. “When our focus is toward a principle of relatedness and oneness, and away from fragmentation and isolation, health ensues.”
Michael Talbot, The Holographic Universe

“Dogmas or systems of thought that tell you to rise above your emotions can be misleading — even, in your terms, somewhat dangerous. Such theories are based upon the concept that there is something innately disruptive, base, or wrong in man’s emotional nature, while the soul is always depicted as being calm, perfect, passive and unfeeling. Only the most lofty, blissful awareness is allowed. Yet the soul is above all a fountain of energy, creativity, and action that shows its characteristics in life precisely through the ever-changing emotions. Trusted, your feelings will lead you to psychological and spiritual states of mystic understanding, calm, and peacefulness. Followed, your emotions will lead you to deep understandings…”
